Bentonite Clay | Matcha Green Tea | French Green Clay

A clarifying clay mask for oily, congested, and breakout-prone skin. Bentonite and French green clay help absorb excess oil, dirt dead skin cells, and surface impurities, while antioxidant-rich matcha green tea brings a little soothing balance to the whole operation.

And yes, you can use it on your armpits, too.
Because sometimes your face isn't the only place that needs to have a conversation with itself.

For When Your Skin Needs to Hit Reset

And sometimes it is producing oil like it's being paid by the barrel, collecting buildup, clogging up pores, and generally behaving as though it has forgotten that we are all trying to have a nice day.

This is for that second situation.

Introducing a deep-cleaning clay mask designed to absorb excess oil and impurities while helping your skin feel fresh, clean, and considerably less congested.

Bentonite Clay: The heavy lifter.Bentonite is highly absorbent and works by binding to oils and impurities on the skin's surface and within pores. It can also help remove dead skin cells while creating an environment that is less hospitable to the bacteria and buildup associated with breakouts.
Basically: bentonite came to clean house.

Matcha Green Tea: The calm one.
Matcha is packed with antioxidants, including EGCG, and contains naturally soothing compounds that can help support skin dealing with irritation, redness, and general crankiness.
Matcha is also being studied for its potential role in supporting balanced oil production and calming the inflammation associated with breakouts.
So while the clays are busy throwing the garbage out, matcha is standing nearby saying, “Everyone relax.”

French Green Clay: French green clay is mineral-rich and provides gentle exfoliation that can leave skin feeling smoother, cleaner, and softer. Its ability to absorb oil makes it particularly useful for oily skin, while its mineral content gives it a little extra skincare credibility beyond simply being a very pretty shade of green. Looks fancy. Does actual work. We appreciate that.

If your skin is feeling oily, congested, or like it has been making questionable decisions lately, this is your cue to wash your face, put on the green mask, and mind your business for ten minutes.

How to Use It on Your Face

  1. Apply a warm towel to your face to give your pores a little encouragement.
  2. Using a NON-METAL bowl and utensils, mix 1 teaspoon of mask with 1 teaspoon of water to form a paste. Feeling fancy? Add a drop of honey and/or replace the water with a combo of rosewater and apple cider vinegar.
  3. Apply an even layer to clean skin. Avoid the eye and lip areas.
  4. Let it sit for about 5–15 minutes, but rinse before it becomes completely dry and starts pulling every ounce of moisture from your face.
  5. Apply your favorite toner and moisturizer to finish the job.
Use 1–2 times a week, depending on how your skin behaves

And Yes, You Can Use It on Your Armpits

Your armpits have pores, oil, sweat, bacteria, and buildup, too.

They're not special.

This mask can also be used as an armpit mask, particularly if you're transitioning away from conventional antiperspirants or deodorants and your underarms are going through an adjustment period.
French green clay is especially useful here because it can absorb excess oil and sweat while helping remove accumulated residue from the skin's surface. The cleansing action may also help reduce unpleasant odor.

And if you're using it on your armpits, don't apply it immediately after shaving. Your freshly shaved armpits have been through enough.

How to Do the Armpit Thing

  1. Using a NON-METAL bowl and utensils, mix 1 teaspoon of mask with 1 teaspoon of water to form a paste. Feeling fancy? Add a drop of honey and/or replace the water with  a combo of rosewater and apple cider vinegar.
  2. On freshly washed armpits, apply an even layer to clean skin.
  3. Let it sit for about 5–15 minutes, but rinse before it becomes completely dry and starts pulling every ounce of moisture from your armpits.
  4. Follow with your preferred deodorant once the skin is completely dry.
Use 1–2 times a week, depending on how your skin behaves.

If you're switching from a synthetic deodorant or antiperspirant, using an armpit clay mask occasionally can be a nice way to help remove accumulated product residue and keep the area feeling fresh.

A Few Words From Your Skin Before You Get Carried Away

More mask does not equal more results.
Leaving this thing on until your face is completely rigid and you can no longer move your eyebrows does not mean you have achieved Maximum Clean.
If your skin feels excessively tight, dry, burning, itchy, or uncomfortable, rinse it off sooner.

As with any new skincare ingredient, patch test first, particularly if you have sensitive skin. If irritation occurs, discontinue use.
